TERMS AND CONDITIONS
WINDING ROADS TRAVEL, AN AFFILIATE OF TRAVEL PLANNERS INTERNATIONAL
RATES: Rates are quoted on a per person, sharing twin room basis.
DEPOSIT: A non-refundable deposit of $300. per person is required.
This includes a $200. deposit for the land portion of the tour and a $100.deposit for the air portion of the tour.
CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS: Most major credit cards are accepted.
SINGLE ROOM SUPPLEMENT is $276.
AIRPORT DEPARTURE FEES AND TAXES: are not included. Taxes and fees have been estimated at $86.42 at time of reservation, but are subject to change, which may result in an additional charge or refund. These include fuel surcharge, Passenger facility charges, , government imposed taxes, fees and charges, including fuel surcharges, September 11 security charges, custom chars, and immigration fees which may apply at time of ticketing.
FINAL PAYMENTS: payment #1 consists of the initial deposit of $300. plus mandatory insurance. Payment #2 of $1256 plus airline taxes. must be paid by March 25, 2004. Payment #3 consists of the remaining balance, $1019. and must be paid by April 29, 2004.
CANCELLATIONS: All cancellations must be received in writing. Vacation cancellation incurs a $100.00 service fee in addition to any fee charged by supplier/airline.
Supplier Land Cancellation Penalties:
More than 99 days: $200. per person.
Between 99 and 65 days: $300. per person.
Between 64 and 31 days: $25% per person.
Between 7 and 1 day: 50% per person.
On day of departure: 100% per person.
Air Cancellation Penalties:
More than 99 days before departure: $100. per person.
Between 99 and 0 days before departure: If airfare has been ticketed, penalties are based on US AIRWAYS fare rules. All fares are subject to government approval and are subject to change without notice; airfares are guaranteed once they have been paid and ticketed. Cancellations or name changes made after tickets have been issued are subject to cancellation fees of $150 to $200 per ticket. Air cancellation fee may be 50% and an airline credit certificate is issued for the balance of the fare. Once travel is completed we cannot issue copies of airline tickets for clients with frequent flyer programs. Therefore the traveler should keep the passenger coupon at the back of the airline ticket.
TRAVEL PROTECTION PLAN: We offer Travel Protection with ACCESS AMERICA. The non-refundable premium is mandatory and must be paid at time of deposit for coverage to apply.
TOUR MEMBERSHIP: To promote an enriching travel experience, we reserve the right to accept or reject any client and to remove from a tour any person whose conduct is incompatible with the interest of the tour group.
TRAVELERS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS: Passengers who require particular assistance must travel with a qualified travel companion as tour drivers and guides cannot provide individualized help for walking, dining, getting on/off transportation vehicles or other personal requirements. As our coaches are not equipped with wheelchair ramps, all tour members must be able to mount 3 or 4 steps into coach. Passengers necessitating unique attention must advise us at time of booking. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate passengers with specific needs but we are not responsible for denial of services by any of our suppliers.
COACH TRANSPORTATION: Coach tours are usually operated by 48 seat motor coaches. When passengers numbers are low, a smaller coach may be used.
TOUR DIRECTOR: The entire land portion of the motorcoach tours is conducted by a professional driver/guide and/or tour director. When numbers on a coach tour fall below 25 persons the operator reserves the right to substitute the tour director with a qualified driver/guide. In addition Andy Wahlberg will escort our group. In the event that Andy Wahlberg cannot escort the tour due to unforeseen medical circumstances, the tour will proceed as scheduled and the rate reduced by $100.00 per person.
ACCOMMODATION: Land arrangements are provided as described in tour program. Tour provider reserves the right to substitute hotels for accommodations in similar categories.
MEALS: Meals are provided as specified in brochure. Dinners in hotels are on a table d'hote basis.
VISITS, ENTERTAINMENT AND OTHER FEATURES: Tour supplier reserves the right to substitute visits, entertainment and other features when establishments are closed or cannot be visited for reasons beyond our control.
SUPPLIER CANCELLATIONS: Tour departure is not guaranteed. If it becomes necessary to cancel the tour prior to departure due to supplier default, an alternative date will be offered. If this is not acceptable, a full refund of all monies paid will be made. We cannot accept responsibility for any additional costs or fees relating to such a tour booking
LUGGAGE: Handling of one piece of luggage per person is included in the cost of all coach tours. Only one suitcase per person is permitted and size should not exceed 30 x 20 x 10 inches. Luggage is carried at owner's risk throughout the tour unless insured. Hand baggage and small articles such as coats, umbrellas or cameras are entirely in the care of the passengers.
TIPS: Tips for services of a personal nature and to the tour director/driver are not included in the tour cost and are left to your discretion.
SMOKING POLICY: Smoking is not allowed on the motorcoach. Frequent stops are made throughout the day where there are opportunities to smoke.
NOT INCLUDED: All items of a personal nature (room service, beverages, telephone charges, laundry, special food requests, etc.) and meals not specified on the tour itinerary are not included and must be paid by the passenger.
DOCUMENTS: Documents will be sent approximately 21 days prior to departure provided full payment has been received. If documents are required earlier than 21 days because passengers are leaving home in advance of the tour booked, we need sufficient notice to arrange for early delivery by regular service
UNUSED TOUR ARRANGEMENTS: We cannot make refunds or exchanges for unused accommodations, services or features of any tour unless agreed upon prior to departure.
CLAIMS OR DISPUTES: You should submit in writing no later than 28 days after the end of the tour. LAW: Passenger contract with Land tour provider is subject exclusively to Irish Law and Jurisdiction.

Box 501, Cedar Knolls, NJ 07927-0501 is not responsible for any personal injury, property damage or other loss a passenger incurs on any tour arising from acts or omissions by any air carrier, public transport company, hotel, car rental company, subcontractor or other person or organization, whether or not such company is rendering any services supplied on the tour. All tickets and vouchers are issued and supplied subject to the foregoing and to any and all terms and conditions under which transportation and services are provided. CIE Tours reserves the right to decline to accept or to return any person as a member of any tour or to cancel or alter the tour. Airline tariffs limit liability for passenger baggage.
IMPORTANT: Tour provider accepts no responsibility for losses or expenses due to delay or changes in schedules, flight cancellations or misconnections due to mechanical problems, sickness, quarantine, weather, acts of God, strikes, government actions, war, terrorism or other circumstances beyond its control. Passengers must bear all such losses or expenses.
